Weighted Lying Neck Flexion targets the neck muscles to increase strength and stability. It involves lying on a bench and performing neck flexions with added resistance, beneficial for developing the front neck muscles and strengthening the cervical spine.
How to do it
- Lie back on a bench with your head hanging off the edge.
- Hold a weight plate on your forehead with both hands.
- Engage your neck muscles and slowly flex your neck forward.
- Hold briefly at the top, then return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
