The Twist Step Stretch is a dynamic exercise that enhances flexibility and core strength. It primarily stretches the hip flexors and targets the obliques. This movement also aids in improving balance and rotational mobility, making it beneficial for overall body coordination and range of motion.

How to do it

  1. Start in a lunge position with your right foot forward and left leg extended back.
  2. Place your left hand on the ground inside your right foot for support.
  3. Extend your right arm upwards, twisting your torso to the right side.
  4. Hold the position for a few seconds, feeling the stretch in your torso and hips.
  5. Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
