This exercise engages the core by performing a weighted crunch while holding a large bottle. The primary benefit is strengthening the abdominal muscles, particularly the obliques, along with enhancing stability and coordination.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
- Hold a bottle close to your chest, keeping your core engaged.
- Lift your head, shoulders, and back off the floor, twisting slightly to one side.
- Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
- Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions.
