The Iron Cross Stretch is an advanced floor exercise that targets the core and enhances flexibility. It engages the obliques through rotational movement while also challenging balance and coordination. This exercise is effective for developing core stability and improving range of motion in the hips and spine.

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with arms extended to the sides, forming a T shape.
  2. Lift your legs and bend them at the knees, keeping them together.
  3. Rotate your hips, bringing your right leg across your body toward the floor on the left side.
  4. Return to the start and repeat with the left leg crossing to the right side.
  5. Continue alternating sides in a controlled manner.
