The Triceps Extension Stepback is a dynamic bodyweight exercise that targets the triceps, enhancing arm strength and stability. By engaging in a controlled stepback motion, this exercise also activates the core and improves overall balance. It's a perfect addition to any upper body workout, offering an efficient way to sculpt and tone your arms without equipment.
How to do it
- Begin standing with feet hip-width apart and arms raised overhead, palms facing forward.
- Keeping your arms straight, step one foot back into a lunge position, bending both knees at a 90-degree angle.
- As you step back, lower your arms behind your head, bending at the elbows to engage the triceps.
- Push through your front heel to return to the starting position, extending your arms back overhead.
- Repeat the movement by alternating legs for the desired number of repetitions.
