The Smith Full Squat is a lower body exercise that targets the quadriceps, glutes, and hamstrings. It provides a controlled environment to perform squats, allowing for a focused and safe workout, especially beneficial for beginners or those looking to improve form.

How to do it

  1. Position the bar of the Smith Machine at shoulder height.
  2. Step under the bar, place it across your upper back, and grasp it with both hands.
  3. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and lower your body by bending the knees and hips until thighs are parallel to the floor.
  4. Press through your heels to return to the starting position, keeping your back straight.
