The double jump squat is a dynamic exercise combining a traditional squat with a jump. It enhances lower body strength and explosiveness, improving athletic performance. This exercise targets the quadriceps, glutes, and calves, offering a cardiovascular challenge and improving coordination.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and hands clasped at chest level.
  2. Lower into a squat position, keeping your back straight and knees behind toes.
  3. Explosively jump upwards, extending through your toes.
  4. Land softly back into the squat position and immediately perform another jump.
  5. Repeat for desired repetitions, ensuring proper form throughout.
