How to do it
- Position a barbell across your upper back, gripping it with your hands wider than shoulder-width.
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, toes slightly pointed out.
- Engage your core and lower into a squat by bending your knees and hips, keeping your chest up.
- Descend until your thighs are parallel to the ground, then push through your heels to return to standing.
- Ensure knees track over toes and maintain a neutral spine throughout the movement.
