How to do it

  1. Stand facing a bench with a barbell across your upper back.
  2. Place one foot firmly on the bench, keeping your torso upright.
  3. Drive through your front heel to lift your body onto the bench.
  4. Step down carefully with the same leg.
  5. Repeat on the other side.
