The child’s pose is a restorative yoga position that stretches the back muscles and promotes relaxation. It helps increase flexibility and relieve tension in the back and shoulders.

How to do it

  1. Sit back on your heels with your knees apart and big toes touching.
  2. Extend your arms forward on the ground with palms facing down.
  3. Gently lower your forehead to the floor, relaxing your neck and shoulders.
