The Lever High Row is an exercise targeting the upper back muscles by mimicking a rowing motion using a leverage machine. It effectively builds strength in the lats and upper back, aiding in improved posture and pulling strength.
How to do it
- Sit on the leverage machine with feet flat on the ground and chest against the pad.
- Grasp the handles with both hands in a neutral grip.
- Pull the handles towards your body by retracting your shoulder blades and flexing elbows.
- Pause briefly at the peak contraction, focusing on squeezing the shoulder blades together.
- Slowly extend the arms back to the starting position with control.
