The single leg extension on a stability ball is an advanced exercise designed to enhance core stability, balance, and leg strength. It primarily targets the hamstrings and gluteus maximus while challenging the core for stabilization.

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with your feet on a stability ball.
  2. Lift your hips off the ground into a bridge position.
  3. Extend one leg straight up while keeping the other foot on the ball.
  4. Hold the position briefly and then return to the start.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching legs.
