The Sumo Quarter Squat Alternate Tip Toe exercise targets the lower body, focusing on strength and stability. This exercise enhances muscle endurance and balance by alternating the elevation of the heels, engaging both the quadriceps and the calves.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width apart, toes pointed slightly outward.
  2. Bend your knees slightly, keeping your back straight and chest up.
  3. Lift one heel off the ground while maintaining balance and hold.
  4. Lower the heel back down and repeat with the other heel.
  5. Continue alternating, keeping the core engaged throughout.
