How to do it

  1. Begin in a lunge position with your right leg forward, knee aligned over the ankle.
  2. Bring your palms together at your chest and twist your torso to the right.
  3. Hook your left elbow outside your right knee, pressing gently for a deeper twist.
  4. Keep your left leg straight and engage your core for balance.
  5. Hold the pose, then switch sides.
