The Lying Crossover Stretch is a flexibility exercise focusing on stretching the obliques and improving spinal mobility. It involves lying on your back and crossing one leg over the other while maintaining a steady position with extended arms.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with arms extended to the sides.
- Lift one leg and cross it over the other, allowing the hip to rotate.
- Keep your shoulders flat on the ground and feel the stretch in your obliques.
- Hold the position for 15-30 seconds before switching sides.
- Breathe deeply and relax into the stretch.
