The Kneeling Back Rotation Stretch helps improve spinal flexibility and thoracic mobility. It engages the core and upper back, providing a gentle stretch to the obliques and surrounding muscles, aiding in better posture and reduced back pain.
How to do it
- Begin on all fours with your hands directly under your shoulders and knees under your hips.
- Place one hand behind your head, keeping your elbow high.
- Rotate your upper body, bringing the elbow towards the opposite arm, then open up towards the ceiling.
- Pause and hold the stretch, then return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions on both sides.
