The Resistance Band Horizontal Pallof Press is an anti-rotation exercise that strengthens the core, particularly the obliques. It involves pressing a resistance band away from the body's center to build stability and control.

How to do it

  1. Attach a resistance band to a fixed point at chest height.
  2. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding the band with both hands at chest level.
  3. Step away to create tension in the band; face shoulders perpendicular to the anchor point.
  4. Press the band horizontally out from your chest, keeping a stable core.
  5. Hold briefly, then return to the start position while resisting band pull.
