The Front Plank Toe Tap is a core strengthening exercise that enhances balance and stability by engaging the abs and obliques. By maintaining a static plank position while alternating toe taps, this exercise also activates the hip muscles and improves overall body coordination.
How to do it
- Start in a front plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders and body in a straight line.
- Engage your core and maintain a neutral spine throughout the movement.
- Lift one foot off the ground and lightly tap it to the side without dropping your hips.
- Return the foot to the starting position and repeat on the opposite side.
- Continue alternating taps for the desired number of repetitions.
