The Extended Side Angle Pose is a yoga posture focused on stretching and strengthening the legs, hips, and torso. It enhances flexibility and balance while opening the hips and chest, improving overall posture.

How to do it

  1. Start in a standing position with feet wide apart.
  2. Turn the right foot outward, bend the right knee, and extend the torso to the right.
  3. Place the right hand on the floor or a block outside the right foot.
  4. Stretch the left arm over the head, aligning it with the left ear.
  5. Hold the pose, then switch sides.
