The Exercise Ball Lat Stretch enhances flexibility and mobility in the latissimus dorsi and surrounding muscles. It is performed using a stability ball to facilitate an extended stretch position, promoting improved range of motion in the shoulders and back.
How to do it
- Kneel on the floor with a stability ball in front of you.
- Place your forearms on the ball and roll it forward gently, extending your arms.
- Lower your chest towards the floor, feeling a stretch in your latissimus dorsi.
- Hold the stretch for several seconds while breathing deeply.
- Slowly return to the starting position.
