The Dumbbell Starfish Crunch is a core strengthening exercise that engages the abdominal muscles. It involves lying flat on the back while holding dumbbells, extending arms and legs in a starfish position, and then crunching at the core. This exercise primarily targets the Rectus Abdominis while also working the Obliques.

How to do it

  1. Lie flat on your back with arms and legs extended in a star shape.
  2. Hold a dumbbell in each hand, keeping arms and legs straight.
  3. Engage your core and lift your shoulders and legs off the ground slightly.
  4. Crunch inward by bringing arms and legs together above your torso.
  5. Return slowly to the starting position and repeat.
