The standing single arm cross raise exercise targets the pectoral muscles and improves shoulder mobility and stability. It is performed by holding a dumbbell in one hand and moving it across the body, activating the chest muscles.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in one hand.
- Engage your core and keep your back straight.
- Raise the dumbbell across your body with a slight bend in the elbow.
- Pause briefly at the top of the movement.
- Lower the dumbbell back to the starting position.
