The Band Cross Body One-Arm Chest Press targets the chest with a focus on the clavicular head of the pectoralis major. This exercise also engages the core and stabilizes the shoulder. It's ideal for developing unilateral strength and stability.
How to do it
- Attach a resistance band to a stable anchor at chest height.
- Stand sideways to the anchor, holding the band with one hand at shoulder height.
- Press the band across your body in a diagonal motion, extending your arm fully.
- Return to the starting position with control.
- Perform the desired number of reps, then switch sides.
