The Dumbbell Lying Hammer Press targets multiple upper body muscles, focusing primarily on building strength in the chest and arms. The neutral grip position helps to engage different parts of the chest while also strengthening the shoulders and triceps.

How to do it

  1. Lie down on a bench, holding a dumbbell in each hand with a neutral grip.
  2. Position the dumbbells at the sides of your chest, elbows bent.
  3. Press the dumbbells upward until your arms are fully extended.
  4. Lower the dumbbells back to the starting position slowly.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
