The Dumbbell Rear Lateral Raise (Support Head) targets the rear deltoids, focusing on enhancing shoulder stability and strength. Supporting the head helps maintain alignment and reduces strain on the neck, providing a controlled and focused movement for isolating the shoulder muscles.

How to do it

  1. 1. Stand and lean forward, resting your forehead on an incline bench for support.
  2. 2. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with a neutral grip and arms hanging down.
  3. 3. Raise the dumbbells out to the sides until your arms are parallel to the ground.
  4. 4. Squeeze the shoulder blades together at the top of the motion.
  5. 5. Lower the weights back to the starting position with control.
