The Cable Standing Single Arm Fly targets the chest muscles. By using a cable machine, this exercise helps to build strength and definition in the pectoral region. It also engages stabilizing muscles due to the unilateral movement.
How to do it
- Stand next to a cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Grab the handle with one hand, starting with your arm extended out to the side.
- Pull the handle across your body in a sweeping motion, keeping a slight bend in the elbow.
- Focus on contracting your chest as your arm crosses the midline.
- Slowly return to the starting position.
