The Cable Standing Lat Pushdown with rope attachment focuses on isolating the latissimus dorsi while also engaging the core and stabilizing muscles. This exercise is excellent for enhancing back width and improving overall posture.
How to do it
- Stand facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Grab the rope attachment with both hands, arms extended overhead.
- Pull the rope down towards your thighs, keeping elbows slightly bent.
- Squeeze your lats at the bottom and then slowly return to the starting position.
