The dumbbell pullover on an exercise ball targets the chest and back muscles. It combines upper body strength work with core stabilization as you perform the pullover motion while balancing on the ball.
How to do it
- Sit on a balance ball with your feet flat on the ground.
- Roll down until your head and upper back are supported on the ball, with your torso parallel to the ground.
- Hold a dumbbell with both hands over your chest, arms extended.
- Lower the dumbbell behind your head while keeping your arms slightly bent, engaging your core.
- Return the dumbbell to the starting position, focusing on using your chest and back muscles.
