The band low chest press is an effective exercise for developing the pectoral muscles while also engaging the arms and shoulders. It involves pressing resistance bands from a low position up to shoulder level, mimicking a chest press movement.

How to do it

  1. Attach a resistance band to a low anchor point behind you.
  2. Stand in a staggered stance for balance.
  3. Grasp the band handles with palms facing forward at chest level.
  4. Press the bands forward by extending your arms until elbows are straight.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position, maintaining control.
