The band low chest press is an effective exercise for developing the pectoral muscles while also engaging the arms and shoulders. It involves pressing resistance bands from a low position up to shoulder level, mimicking a chest press movement.
How to do it
- Attach a resistance band to a low anchor point behind you.
- Stand in a staggered stance for balance.
- Grasp the band handles with palms facing forward at chest level.
- Press the bands forward by extending your arms until elbows are straight.
- Slowly return to the starting position, maintaining control.
