The Dumbbell Lying on Floor Chest Press is a strength training exercise primarily targeting the chest muscles. It is performed lying on the floor while pressing dumbbells upwards, providing a safe alternative to the bench press. This move helps build upper body strength and muscular endurance.

How to do it

  1. Lie flat on the floor with knees bent and feet flat.
  2. Hold a dumbbell in each hand, position them at chest level with elbows bent.
  3. Engage your core and press the dumbbells straight up until your arms are fully extended.
  4. Lower the dumbbells back to the starting position with control.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
