Band hip flexion is an exercise targeting the hip flexor muscles. It involves using a resistance band to lift the knee against resistance, helping to strengthen the hip area and improve mobility.
How to do it
- Attach a resistance band to a stationary object and secure it around one ankle.
- Stand upright with your hands on your hips for balance.
- Lift your knee up to hip level against the band's resistance.
- Hold briefly at the top, then lower the leg back down.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching sides.
