Equipment
The wrist roller exercise is used to strengthen the forearm muscles, particularly beneficial for improving grip strength. By rolling a weight up and down using a bar or handle, it targets both the wrist flexors and extensors effectively.
How to do it
- Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a wrist roller with both hands.
- Extend your arms in front of you, keeping them parallel to the ground.
- Wind the weight up by rotating one wrist at a time until the weight reaches the top.
- Slowly unwind the weight back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
