The wide stance jump squat to narrow stance jump squat is a plyometric exercise that enhances explosive power and strengthens the lower body. This dynamic movement involves transitioning from a wide squat position to a narrow squat position through a jump, which also challenges balance and coordination.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width apart, toes pointing slightly outward.
  2. Lower into a squat, keeping chest up and knees over toes.
  3. Explode upward into a jump, bringing feet closer together mid-air.
  4. Land softly into a narrow squat with feet closer than hip-width.
  5. Repeat the movement, transitioning back to the wide stance on the next jump.
