Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The wide stance jump squat to narrow stance jump squat is a plyometric exercise that enhances explosive power and strengthens the lower body. This dynamic movement involves transitioning from a wide squat position to a narrow squat position through a jump, which also challenges balance and coordination.
How to do it
- Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width apart, toes pointing slightly outward.
- Lower into a squat, keeping chest up and knees over toes.
- Explode upward into a jump, bringing feet closer together mid-air.
- Land softly into a narrow squat with feet closer than hip-width.
- Repeat the movement, transitioning back to the wide stance on the next jump.
