Marching on the spot is a low-impact exercise that involves lifting your knees alternately while maintaining an upright posture. This exercise primarily helps in improving cardiovascular fitness and can serve as a warm-up activity.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright with feet hip-width apart and arms by your sides.
  2. Lift your right knee towards your chest while swinging your left arm forward.
  3. Quickly switch, lifting your left knee and swinging your right arm.
  4. Continue alternating sides in a rhythmic manner.
  5. Maintain a steady pace and breathe naturally.
