Marching on the spot is a low-impact exercise that involves lifting your knees alternately while maintaining an upright posture. This exercise primarily helps in improving cardiovascular fitness and can serve as a warm-up activity.
How to do it
- Stand upright with feet hip-width apart and arms by your sides.
- Lift your right knee towards your chest while swinging your left arm forward.
- Quickly switch, lifting your left knee and swinging your right arm.
- Continue alternating sides in a rhythmic manner.
- Maintain a steady pace and breathe naturally.
