The vertical sit-up is an advanced core exercise performed on a vertical bench. It targets the abdominal muscles by engaging in a full range of motion, providing significant core strengthening benefits.

How to do it

  1. Secure your legs under the padded holder on the vertical bench.
  2. Lie back with your arms crossed over your chest or placed behind your head.
  3. Engage your core and lift your upper body toward your knees, keeping your back straight.
  4. Hold the position briefly at the top, then lower back down slowly.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
