The L-Sit is a challenging bodyweight exercise that primarily targets core stability and strength. It involves holding a seated position with legs extended off the floor, requiring significant engagement of the abdominal and hip flexor muscles. This exercise improves overall muscle control and enhances the strength of the upper body and core.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs extended in front of you and hands placed by your sides.
  2. Engage your core and press into your hands to lift your body off the floor.
  3. Hold your legs straight out in front of you, parallel to the ground.
  4. Maintain this position by keeping the core tight and shoulders down.
  5. Hold the L-Sit for the desired amount of time before lowering yourself back down.
