The triceps dip (bench leg) is an effective bodyweight exercise targeting the triceps. It involves dipping between two benches to build upper body strength, focusing primarily on the triceps, while also engaging the shoulders and chest.
How to do it
- Position two benches parallel to each other, shoulder-width apart.
- Sit on one bench and place your hands beside your hips, palms down.
- Extend your legs across to rest your heels on the opposite bench.
- Lower your body by bending your elbows until your upper arms are parallel to the floor.
- Push through your palms to return to the starting position.
