The cable pushdown with rope attachment is a strength training exercise that primarily targets the triceps. It helps in building muscle mass and strength in the upper arms. Performing this exercise regularly can contribute to upper body stability and improved arm aesthetics.

How to do it

  1. Stand facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Grip the rope attachment with both hands, palms facing each other.
  3. Position your elbows close to your body and bend them to 90 degrees.
  4. Push the rope down by extending your elbows until your arms are straight.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position with control.
