Cable Reverse Grip Pushdown
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The Cable Reverse Grip Pushdown targets the triceps by using a supinated grip (palms facing up), engaging different parts of the triceps compared to the regular grip pushdown. This exercise is effective for isolating and strengthening the triceps, contributing to upper arm definition and strength.
How to do it
- Attach a straight bar to a high pulley cable.
- Stand facing the machine, grasping the bar with an underhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
- Keep elbows close to your body and extend your arms down by contracting your triceps.
- Pause briefly at the bottom, then slowly return to the starting position.
- Repeat for desired repetitions, maintaining control throughout the movement.
