The Barbell Lying Triceps Extension is a strength exercise that targets the triceps. It involves lying on a bench and extending the barbell above the forehead to engage the muscles at the back of the upper arm, enhancing arm definition and strength.
How to do it
- Lie flat on a bench with feet firmly on the ground.
- Hold a barbell with a shoulder-width grip, arms extended above your chest.
- Lower the barbell towards your forehead by bending elbows, keeping upper arms stationary.
- Extend arms to return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining controlled movements.
