Thread the Needle Pose is a yoga stretch that targets the shoulders and upper back. It helps relieve tension and improve flexibility in the upper body, offering a calming effect as well.
How to do it
- Start on all fours with hands under shoulders and knees under hips.
- Slide your right arm under your left arm, palm facing up.
- Lower your right shoulder and ear to the ground, keeping hips level.
- Hold for several breaths, feeling the stretch in your shoulder and back.
- Return to all fours and repeat on the other side.
