Thread the Needle Pose is a yoga stretch that targets the shoulders and upper back. It helps relieve tension and improve flexibility in the upper body, offering a calming effect as well.

How to do it

  1. Start on all fours with hands under shoulders and knees under hips.
  2. Slide your right arm under your left arm, palm facing up.
  3. Lower your right shoulder and ear to the ground, keeping hips level.
  4. Hold for several breaths, feeling the stretch in your shoulder and back.
  5. Return to all fours and repeat on the other side.
