The Suspender Y Lateral Raise is a stability and strength exercise that targets the shoulder muscles and upper back. It involves raising the arms into a 'Y' shape while maintaining a stable core and leaning backward, engaging multiple muscles for stabilization.

How to do it

  1. Attach the suspension straps to an overhead anchor point.
  2. Hold the handles and lean back with a straight body, feet shoulder-width apart.
  3. Extend your arms in front, maintaining slight tension in the straps.
  4. Raise your arms up and out to form a 'Y', engaging your shoulders and back.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat.
