The Dumbbell Standing Bent Arm Lateral Raise is an upper body exercise targeting the shoulder muscles. It strengthens and sculpts the upper body, focusing on the deltoids, and improves shoulder stability and posture.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand.
- Bend your elbows at 90 degrees, palms facing inward.
- Raise your arms out to the sides until elbows are at shoulder height.
- Pause briefly, then lower back to the starting position.
- Keep your core engaged throughout the movement.
