The Sumo Deadlift High Pull is a compound exercise that combines a deadlift and an upright row. It primarily engages the lower and upper body, boosting power and coordination. This move is great for building strength and conditioning.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet wide apart, toes slightly out, barbell on the floor in front.
  2. Grip the barbell with hands shoulder-width apart, keeping back straight.
  3. Push through heels to stand, pulling the bar upward explosively.
  4. Drive elbows high and outside, lifting the bar to chin level.
  5. Lower back to start position in a controlled manner.
