Standing Upright Shoulders Stretch

The standing upright shoulder stretch is designed to improve flexibility and alleviate tension in the shoulders and chest. It's an effective stretch for enhancing shoulder mobility and can help prevent injury by maintaining shoulder joint health.

How to do it

  1. Stand in a doorway with arms extended overhead, hands touching the frame.
  2. Step one foot forward slightly to create a gentle stretch.
  3. Lean slightly into the doorway until a stretch is felt in the shoulders and chest.
  4. Hold the position for 15-30 seconds while breathing deeply.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat if needed.
