The standing power throw is an explosive exercise that enhances overall power, coordination, and strength. It involves using a medicine ball to generate force from a squat position and throw it as far as possible, engaging multiple muscle groups.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a medicine ball with both hands.
  2. Squat down slightly, keeping your chest up and back straight.
  3. Explode upward, throwing the ball forward and upward with force.
  4. Follow through with your arms, ensuring full extension.
  5. Catch the ball or have a partner return it for continuous reps.
