Standing knee raise is an effective exercise targeting the hip flexors and core muscles. It helps improve balance, coordination, and lower body strength. This bodyweight movement can be incorporated into warm-ups or strength training routines to enhance stability and muscular endurance.

How to do it

  1. Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and hands on hips.
  2. Engage core muscles and lift one knee towards the chest.
  3. Pause briefly, then lower the leg back to the starting position.
  4. Alternate sides, lifting the opposite knee to the chest.
  5. Maintain a steady pace and controlled movements throughout.
