The Resistance Band Upper Body Dead Bug is an exercise that engages the core while stabilizing the upper body. By using a resistance band, it also strengthens the shoulders and arms. It is effective for improving core stability and coordination.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with knees bent at 90 degrees and feet off the ground.
- Hold a resistance band taut over your chest with both hands.
- Engage your core, keeping your lower back pressed into the floor.
- Move one leg toward the ground, keeping the other still, while maintaining tension in the resistance band.
- Alternate legs, maintaining a stable core and steady arms.
