The Lying Scissors Cross exercise targets the core and hip flexors, enhancing abdominal strength and stability. It involves alternating leg movements in a scissor-like fashion while keeping the shoulders slightly lifted off the ground.

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with hands under the glutes for support.
  2. Lift both legs off the ground, keeping them straight and slightly apart.
  3. Engage your core, lift your head and shoulders slightly.
  4. Alternate crossing your legs over and under each other in a scissor motion.
  5. Continue the movement steadily without letting the legs touch the ground.
