Standing Hip Sagittal Rotation with Hands Overhead is an exercise focusing on strengthening the core muscles, particularly the obliques and rectus abdominis. It enhances stability, balance, and functional movement by incorporating rotation in multiple planes, challenging the core while maintaining an upright posture.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. Raise your arms overhead, keeping them aligned with your ears.
  2. Engage your core by pulling your navel towards your spine and maintain a neutral spine.
  3. Rotate your hips to one side while keeping your upper body stable. Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
